Girls Trip to Miami

Girls trip to Miami… OOF!! What a time. I recommend that every girl gang make their way to Miami Beach. Sun, Sand, and Tequila with your best friends, what’s better? We had some of the best food, danced our butts off, rode jet skis, and laughed A LOT. Here are the things that I recommend for your trip to Miami.

Kiki On The River

This was THE SPOT! I’d party at Kiki on The River any day of the week. This hip spot is located on the river. Yachts docked on the deck while you’re sipping cocktails and they blast R&B. I had one Kiki Orgasm (cucumber martini) and then 2 espresso martinis. I like coffee with my alcohol, sue me. THE BEST ESPRESSO MARTINI I’ve ever had. Ice cold YUM. ALSO the best service, so personable and recommend more Miami spots for us to check out. The atmosphere was my favorite part personally. With “Kiki, do you love me” written in neon on fresh flowers on the wall, and the dim purple lights with the water right next to you? Ugh, Kiki you have my heart and I’ll be back.

SLS Pool Party

The HIGHLIGHT of our Miami Girl’s Trip. It’s got everything you could ever want; a pool, an amazing DJ, cold drinks, yummy fries, and fun company. We had blast!

Coral Italian Restaurant

This was a hole in the wall! It’s placed in a suburban neighborhood, and in the middle of nowhere kinda. This small Italian restaurant has the cutest outdoor atmosphere with living room furniture lamps, heated “mushrooms”, and a old-time movie projected on the building next to us. For dinner, we ate the “Involtini – Salumi” with parma cotto ham, ricotta, salami, and truffle oil (similar to a pizza roll, but WAY BETTER) and the “Gnocchi Pesto”. Everything on the menu is handmade and clearly made with a lot of love. All of this didn’t compare to the service. It was undoubtedly the best experience I have ever had. They treated us like family from the moment we got there. They brought us not one, but two heaters. Showered us with personable, sincere conversation and treated us to limoncello and cannolis at the end of our meal. I can not recommend this place enough.

Nobu Miami

I’m honestly melting thinking about this. My friends and I balled out on this meal and I recommend you do the same. I mean it’s NOBU PEOPLE. How many times is it mentioned in songs and KKK? We split everything family-style and had four rounds of everything; wine, sushi, tacos, parmesan miso rice with truffle oil, more wine. I’ll list a few of our favorites. Spicy Tuna with Avocado, Spicy Scallop, Rock Shrimp, House Roll, Shrimp Tempura, and the Lava Cake with Green Tea Ice Cream. The Parmesan Truffle Miso Rice was incredible. The rice was similar to a risotto with the rice simmered in miso, with parmesan and mushrooms, and topped with truffles. It was so good and the service was also amazing. Highly recommend going all out at Nobu Miami.

WTR – The One Hotel

The most gorgeous place with an incredible view and a very pretty atmosphere. Twinkle lights hung up on low hanging trees, wheatgrass by their rooftop pool, ya know the drill. But if you want my honest opinion.. Go for a drink to see the pretty view and then leave. It’s a bit overpriced for meh service and food. I feel bad writing this, but we just didn’t have the best experience. I recommend for the view though…

Things I want to do next time/What I would’ve done differently:

  • We got an Airbnb for our girl’s trip. It worked out great, but I suggest being in a hotel. Yes, we did save on a few meals that were made in the kitchen which I’m thankful for when the trip did cost a lot… BUT when it comes to beach chairs, nice pools, and good service I would much rather stay in a hotel. Especially when it’s basically the same price. This was the hotel that I was interested in before we decided to stay in an Airbnb.

  • We stayed in Miami Beach which I highly recommend, it was gorgeous and soo nice. If you’re wanting to party it up though I would stay in Downtown Miami near Wynwood or Brickell area. My experience was that the party was in this area.

  • Go to E11even or LIV nightclub. It’ll be pricey though…

  • Find a boat, obviously, shouldn’t that always be the goal on a girls trip?
